Well I went nuts and bought 200$ worth of Dolls last week. What was I thinking? I was thinking Story of Live Dolls, my favorite book when I was a wee thing. It was a book at the Logan Helm Library, a library that exists only in memory now. It was written at the turn of the century, maybe 1908. One magical night all the dolls came alive and I absolutely adored that book. When it was time to discard the book, my Mom brought it home to me! It was torn and some unwatched child was allowed to crayon all over it. But it is my book now. Somewhere in the garage. I've listed three of the 43 dolls including the one opposite. An Ashton Doll Pretty as a Picture.
This one, a Madame Alexander Doll - The Rings Bearer.
I've had a mediocre March and an even worse April, but I hang in there and continue to find stuff that should sell eventually. Like these cool running shoes with the original sales receipt in the box. 179.99$ Gee Whiz.
Almost perfect. If they were run in, it was only once.
Found this last week at my former favorite favorite Auction House. I love horse stuff. 7 pounds.
